Augusta, Georgia, resident Liam Fox attends Georgia Southern University and is pursuing a BS in mechanical engineering. An intern with the Completions EIS Design Co-Op at Gulfstream, he works to review and support the work of engineers. This ensures aircraft systems are compliant, functional, and ready to enter service. Liam Fox’s position involves working integrally with suppliers, as well as quality, manufacturing, and engineering departments.
Liam Fox has also engaged as part of Aircraft Design Team #9 and delivered engineering solutions that ensure the custom assets are compliant with customer requirements and FAA regulations. He has employed Catia V5 and in-house software in coordinating the proper design of cabling setup and airplane interiors. He has also created safety callout diagrams for Gulfstream aircraft.
Mr. Fox completed high school in Augusta and gained early professional experience with the Utah Shakespeare Festival in roles such as carpenter and prop artist. He spent two years as a scene shop assistant at the institution he currently attends. His experience extends to a seasonal role for five years as a warehouse worker with Fox Appliance Parts.
